The San Diego Whale Festival FACTS AT A GLANCE: Date: Sat., January 21, 2012 Time: 11:00 am - 3:00 pm Cost: The Festive is FREE of Charge--All ages are welcome! Discounts are available for all waterfront businesses, just download "Discounts on Big Bay" to the right. Location: the new Port Pavilion at the Broadway Pier, on the corner of Broadway & N. Harbor Drive, downtown San Diego, on the Embarcadero Entertainment: Jinnah Williams 11-12 noon, Nadro John 12:15-1:30 James Gibson Band 1:30-3pm Special appearance: Flamenco with Roots Youth Dance Troupe at 1:00 p.m. FREE for the kids: Train rides, giant inflatable obstacle Course, face painting, give aways, Interactive Inflated GRAY whale from Birch Aquarium, tour the SEAL Tour boat, and Kyxy Prize wheel and over 50 Exhibitors. Festival Food: there will be food, water, soda and other nonalcoholic beverages available for purchase on festival grounds. Parking will be around the vicinity of Broadway St. and N. Harbor Drive, (see map for suggested paid lots). Participants are encouraged to ride Amtrak California Pacific Surfliner to participate in Big Bay Whale Days.
